Cherry Farm With Bass Pond

This 1.7 hectare cherry farm is situated on the mountainside above the village of Telhado. The village is approximately 1km away and has all the amenities you would need in daily life.

When you first enter the farm, via a 200m long good quality farm track you first will see the large fully stocked bass pond, the bass are 2 year old and around 10" long, after another year or so they will be large enough to be a food source and will begin breeding rapidly, even more so if aquatic plants were introduced for the fry to hide amongst.

To the north of the property we have a 7,000m2 cherry orchard, trees are planted at 3 metre squares and are all irrigated. The irrigation system is powered by the solar system by the pump housing. A fertilisation / irrigation mixer system was installed 2 years ago.

The property has the ability to have a house of up to 200m2 footprint constructed.

The rest of the farm has large flat terraces which would be ideal for either more orchards or livestock.
